Juliana Cipolla

Privacy and Security Law Clerk

Juliana is a student at the University at Buffalo School of Law. Prior to joining The Beckage Firm, Juliana was a data privacy and research assistant for Beckage’s previously founded firm “Beckage” prior to enrolling in law school. While enrolled, Juliana was a civil litigation intern at a well-known and reputable firm based in Buffalo, NY. Juliana participated in Desmond Moot Court, the longest running moot court competition, Trial Teams, University at Buffalo Intellectual Property Law Society, University at Buffalo National Lawyer’s Guild, and University at Buffalo Health Law Society through the law school. Additionally, Juliana is a member of the Erie County Bar Association, InfoTech WNY, and the University at Buffalo Alumni Association.

Juliana also has also completed the Physicians for Human Rights forensic training through Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians & Surgeons Human Rights Initiative to assist in conducting psychiatric and medical evaluations of survivors of torture seeking asylum status in the Buffalo area.

These experiences help Juliana effectively communicate with clients experiencing a data privacy and security incident, drafting data security policies, and evaluating website accessibility.
