A programmer with deep experience in data security and privacy, space law, Neeharika has a B.S. in astrophysics and an IB Diploma in physics and mathematics. She also has her Juris Doctorate in privacy and security and has worked as a privacy and security analyst for global brands.
Neeharika Thuravil is a Law Clerk at The Beckage Firm, bringing her expertise in technology and law to the practice of data privacy and cybersecurity law. Her work with multiple organizations, including NBCUniversal, Google, Unity, and Kuma as a privacy analyst, has diversified her experience and informed her perspective as she contributes to the field.
Neeharika possesses a deep understanding of the legal landscape surrounding data
privacy, particularly in the healthcare and entertainment spaces, while her experience in data technology allows her to translate complex technological concepts into practical legal solutions.
She has experience in technical analysis of privacy compliance with regulations and frameworks such as NIST Privacy and Cybersecurity Frameworks, NIST 800-53, MARS-E, AICPA Privacy Maturity Frameworks, IRS Pub. 1075, HIPAA, GLBA, SOC 2, HITRUST, ISO 27001, etc. She has knowledge in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), algorithms, programming, and data analytics. She is proficient in Hindi, Spanish, and Tamil.
